Hi There! I am Nic!

Born and raised in Northern Michigan, I moved to Florida at 22 to pursue my dream of becoming a master brewer. By 23, I had achieved it—becoming the youngest master brewer in the United States and running the largest production brewery in Florida at the time. I earned multiple state and national awards, but despite the success, I found myself wanting a greater challenge.

With a degree in Business Management and Marketing, and the operational experience of managing a large-scale brewery, I set out as a self-employed entrepreneur. My first venture was in Miami’s competitive nightclub and restaurant scene, where I spent four years learning the realities of hospitality management.

From there, I shifted into the insurance industry, launching Florida National Insurance Solutions. Through determination and strategic focus, I became one of Florida’s leading commercial insurance brokers, specializing in construction coverage and business operations. Recognizing a gap in the market, I founded Audit Monkey to provide payroll, bookkeeping, and audit support for businesses navigating insurance compliance.

Drawing on my Marine Corps background and lifelong experience with firearms, I established Pernix Industries, a licensed firearms manufacturing company specializing in custom rifles and handguns. My connections in the construction industry then opened the door to Designda, an architecture firm focused on residential design.

Seeing the untapped potential of Colombian professional talent, I launched Sourcy—a company dedicated to connecting skilled Colombian architects, engineers, and support staff with U.S. businesses, while integrating AI and automation to maximize efficiency.

Today, my career is built on blending operational expertise, entrepreneurial vision, and the ability to identify opportunities across multiple industries—transforming ideas into thriving, scalable businesses.

We’re living in a time where Artificial Intelligence is everywhere—at least in marketing pitches. Every week, I see self-proclaimed “AI Experts” pop up on LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube, offering to “transform your business with AI.” The problem? They don’t know the first thing about AI. They don’t use it in their own businesses. And they couldn’t tell you the difference between ChatGPT and a chatbot template if their life depended on it. The AI Paradox: Selling What You Don’t Use If

The Business Coach Who Wasn’t Coaching

It’s an interesting thing about social media — you never know who’s quietly watching. Sometimes it’s friends, sometimes it’s competitors… and sometimes, it’s people who once pretended to be in your corner. Over the years, I’ve seen a disturbing pattern in the world of “business coaching.” There’s an entire industry of so-called experts who don’t actually help you grow — they help themselves to your wallet. Their pitch is slick, their words are smooth, and they wrap it all
