Business Mentoring.

Born and raised in Northern Michigan, I moved to Florida at the age of 22 to chase a dream of becoming a master brewer. By 23 I achieved that goal. I was the youngest master brewer in the United States and was in charge of running the largest production brewery at the time in the entire state. I won multiple state and national awards but it just wasn’t satisfying me. I yearned for more challenge. With a background in business and marketing from my college education and the experience of running a brewery I set out for the first time as a self employed entrepreneur. My first go around was in the nightclub/restaurant world of Miami. After 4 years in this industry I got involved with the insurance industry and opened my first agency, Florida National Insurance Solutions. Through determination and a lot of hard work I became one of the prominent commercial brokers in the state of Florida with an expertise in construction insurance and business operations. With years of experience in the field I saw a need for audit assistance and opened up Audit Monkey, a business focused on payroll, bookkeeping and all the other aspects that pertains to an insurance audit. With a background from my time in the Marine Corps and growing up around firearms I created Pernix Industries, a custom rifle and handgun manufacturing company. From my network in the construction world I opened up Designda, an architecture firm focuses on residential design. Sourcy followed shortly after. My partner Sara Cordoba and I opened Sourcy as a means of connecting the labor talent of Colombia with business owners in the US.
